They'd bring the varmint back in handcuffs-or laid across the back of a horse!
It started out as a friendly poker game in the Pilgrim Saloon. It ended in a pool of blood high up in the Montana War Bonnets. What happened in between depended mostly on who was tellin' it, but all agreed things got elevated when the drifter named Jackson called the one-armed horse trader a cheat, grabbed the $3,000 in the pot and hightailed it out of town. A posse of 25 salty ol' boys mounted up in pursuit, and Montana's wierdest and deadliest manhunt was suddenly in full gallop.
